Upwell is West Seattle's reliable spot to drop in seven days a week to find something delicious to eat and drink. During the day we have a dynamic coffee program with house made pastries, breakfast, and lunch plates. To keep it fresh and interesting we always feature two roasters to brew espresso, pour overs, and specialty drinks from. Our core partner is Herkimer Coffee from Seattle's Phinney Ridge neighborhood who has been sourcing green beans directly from farmers around the globe since 2003. They have been an advocate for sustainable pricing and quality since the beginning and we couldn't think of a better group of folks to support, and the coffee's really good too!
Our other featured roaster rotates every 6ish weeks and we're currently brewing the honey processed Guatemala from Dear Francis out of Portland, OR. It's on espresso, pour over, and in our collaborative drink the "Winter Escape," a flash chilled coffee with orgeat topped with a pineapple oat foam - makes you feel like you're on a beach watching the sunrise :)
Come nighttime the space transforms into a wine bar that has fifteen wines by the glass, vermouth cocktails,
and a full dinner menu Thursday - Saturday until 10pm.
Every other night of the week feel free to drop in for a glass and a slightly paired down food menu until 7pm.
Tasting Tuesdays are drop in from 5-7 and we'll have a rotating lineup of killer wines and good looking winemakers pouring them to answer all your questions.
